Artwish is a small, private art studio located in Apex, North Carolina, where creativity and individual growth come first. We provide a supportive and inspiring environment where students from elementary through high school can explore art, develop their skills, and build confidence as young artists.

At Artwish, students explore a wide variety of art materials and techniques, including pen drawing, observational drawing, watercolor, oil pastel, oil painting, gouache, colored pencil drawing, and printmaking, along with many other creative projects. By experiencing different mediums, students can discover what they enjoy while developing strong artistic foundations and their own artistic style.

Our classes are kept small so that each student receives personal attention and guidance. Lessons are tailored to each student’s age, skill level, interests, and artistic goals. Whether a student is just beginning their art journey or working toward art competitions and a college portfolio, we help each student build strong artistic skills and grow at their own pace.

Artwish students participate in and receive awards in state, national, and international art competitions. Our students have also received numerous awards through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. We encourage students to take on new challenges and take their artwork beyond the classroom through competitions, exhibitions, and other artistic opportunities.

Artwish also provides opportunities for students to experience art beyond the studio. Throughout the year, students participate in art exhibitions and community art projects, giving them opportunities to share their work and gain real-world experience. Our students have also had opportunities to showcase their artwork at respected venues, including the North Carolina Museum of Art.

More than just an art class, Artwish is a small creative community where students learn, create, encourage one another, and develop a lasting passion for art.
